Breakfast is the most important meal of the day

Yes, I know you know this from all the cereal and jimmy dean ads but its not for the same reasons. Sure breakfast jump starts your metabolism, gives your body energy so you can function but even more than that - I'm convinced that what you eat for breakfast sets the tone for how you will eat for the entire day.

On the days you don't eat breakfast you're probably eating more or worse at lunch cause you think you can catch up on those calories. If you eat something with refined sugar or too many preservatives your body probably craves more "crap" throughout the day.

I am juicing my breakfast and that helps me do better not only b/c I'm not eating crap but because I'm able to get protein, vitamins and minerals that I'm not sure I would get eating that bowl of captain crunch that I love so much.

So...cheers to breakfast!
